Peter Webb founded Weldon Plant in 1980 developing it from a small, owner managed earthworks business to its current status as a multi-disciplinary, fully resourced, civil engineering and construction company. The company now employs over 140 people and owns a comprehensive fleet of specialist machinery and vehicles.

WILLIE BOYD
Director
Willie joined Weldon in 1987 and is responsible for overseeing the management of the company's vehicle and plant fleet. Willie works closely with the operational teams to ensure that there is always sufficient equipment to meet client requirements. Willie is responsible for the development and management of the company's investment strategy ensuring optimum use of resources.

PETER GODDARD
Director
Peter joined Weldon in 1991 as a Contracts Manager and is responsible for all the company’s back office functions including marketing, business development and estimating. Peter is also the company’s nominated Health & Safety Director and is responsible for overseeing environmental and quality management of the business and its contracts. Peter is a chartered civil engineer with a wealth of experience from a contracting background and understands how to maximise cost effective ‘win-win' solutions.

JULIAN ALDRIDGE
Finance Director/Company Secretary
Julian joined Weldon during 2001 and is responsible for overseeing the company's accountancy and financial management functions. Julian is a qualified accountant (FCMA) responsible for making informed financial decisions which take into account all aspects of the business including customer requirements and the company's development strategy.
