PROJECT: BARKERS LANE HOUSEHOLD RECYCLING CENTRE, BEDFORD

CONTRACT VALUE: £1.35 Million
CONTRACT DURATION: 24 Weeks

This Contract was a Lump Sum "All Risk" Contract for the construction of a fully serviced household waste recycling centre. The works involved the construction of a complicated sub-surface pressure release drainage system to deal with very high water table occurring on site.

This Contract has been used as a Land Mark Scheme for Bedford County Council and has been inspected by many other local authorities to use as a benchmark for their future schemes.
