SCOPE OF WORKS
Remedial works to restore the railway embankment to pre-failure height and to protect against future instability, by excavation of the failure mass and replacement with engineered fill and construction of a 7m high , 100m long, gabion wall.
This project also included:
• Construction of approximately 1500m access roads to work site.
• Disposal of 5000m³ waste off site.
• Import to site of:Stone – 5000 T, Backfill – 10,000 T
